Win2Wal — Call (Appel)

Funds the multi-partner industrial research consortia led by Walloon university or higher-education college departments, each partnered with at least one Walloon.

Win2Wal funds multi-partner industrial research consortia led by Walloon university or higher-education college departments, each partnered with at least one Walloon company that commits to valorizing the results into new products, processes or services. University and college partners receive 100% cost coverage; approved research centres receive 75%. The industrial sponsor receives no direct funding but provides a letter of commitment and in-kind co-engagement. Projects run up to 48 months with a mid-term evaluation. Calls are annual, each aligned to Wallonia's Smart Specialisation Strategy (RIS3) thematic priorities set for that year. The 2026 call focused on health innovations and agri-food/environmental management chains. Application follows a two-stage letter-of-intent (déclaration d'intention) then full detailed proposal process via ONTIME.
