Green and Digital Partnerships for Intelligent Transformation
Funds collaborations between Bulgarian enterprises and universities developing commercial green and digital technologies.
Green and Digital Partnerships for Intelligent Transformation is a procedure under PNIIDIT, the Bulgarian Ministry of Innovation and Growth programme that backs research, innovation, and digitalisation with ERDF money. It is designed for Bulgarian SMEs working in mandatory partnership with a higher education institution or scientific organisation, and it focuses on development, validation, testing, and commercialisation. The call carries a total budget of 60,770,432 BGN, with individual projects ranging from 100,000 to 1,500,000 BGN. SME co-financing generally falls between 50% and 80% depending on company size, aid type, and region, while university and research partners can receive 100% funding. The application route runs through ISUN 2020 and requires a qualified electronic signature. This is the kind of procedure that rewards a clean division of labour between the business lead and the research partner. Applicants need a credible green or digital technology, a partnership that is already functional on paper, and enough delivery detail to show how the work moves from development into market use.
