EMBRAPII Projetos de Alto Impacto (High-Impact Projects)
Supports Large ticket strategic innovation development consortia requiring multi Unidade multi company alliances EMBRAPII covers non reimbursable.
EMBRAPII Projetos de Alto Impacto is the large-ticket arm of EMBRAPII's industrial innovation system in Brazil. It sits under the same national network of certified units, but it is aimed at strategic challenges that require a broader consortium and a larger budget than the standard co-funding route. The program uses non-reimbursable grant capital, with EMBRAPII contributing at least R$5 million per project and covering roughly 60-70% of the total budget. The balance comes from the company and participating units, and each project must include at least two accredited EMBRAPII units plus at least one Brazilian industrial company. Calls run multiple times a year, are thematic, and are handled in Portuguese. This path suits consortia that already have a defined industrial use case, enough governance capacity to coordinate several partners, and a project large enough to justify a strategic call. It is less about exploratory work than about mobilizing a serious industrial program around a national priority. Applicants do best when the problem statement is clear, the partner mix is credible, and the matching share can be assembled without delay.
