FINEP Fundos de Investimento em Participacoes (FIP / Equity) is FINEP's indirect equity route under the Brazilian federal innovation agency, Financiadora de Estudos e Projetos. Instead of writing startup checks directly, FINEP selects and capitalizes a fund manager that then invests in eligible Brazilian innovation companies through a participatory-investment fund.
