Brazil FINEP Inovacred

Provides project finance loans to Brazilian small and medium-sized companies developing innovation in deeptech sectors.

Brazil FINEP Inovacred is FINEP's rolling innovation-finance line for Brazilian small and medium-sized companies. It sits under FINEP, the federal innovation agency, and it is designed for firms that need project finance for innovation work rather than a classic competitive grant. The route is structured as a loan, with awards from R$200,000 to R$5,000,000 and a median observed size of about R$400,000. Eligible applicants are Brazilian-incorporated SMEs with revenue below R$90 million, the work usually sits around TRL 3 to 7, the line can cover up to 100 percent of project cost, and the notes point to an effective rate of TR + 6.068% with about R$1 billion in FNDCT support behind the line. This is a good fit for firms that can carry repayable finance and can tie the spend to a defined innovation project in a deeptech or adjacent sector. The project must be the same one throughout the financing stack, so the strongest applicants usually arrive with a clear technical plan, a realistic repayment case, and enough maturity to move beyond early research without needing a pure grant structure.

Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
