Supports envelope through for AI applied across plant-based food and ingredient value chain.
The Artificial Intelligence Program deploys CAD $30 million through 31 March 2028 to support AI-enabled innovation across PIC's plant-based food, feed, and ingredient value chain. Projects must involve a consortium of two or more partner companies and must apply AI technology that advances the sector. Consortia may be required to complete a Data and AI Readiness Program (a feasibility step) before submitting a Full Project Proposal. Intake is continuous and proposals are reviewed within 6 weeks.
