Technology Leadership — Genomics Stream

The Genomics Stream is a sub-stream of the Technology Leadership Program focused specifically on commercializing crop varieties using new genomic tools. Priority crops are pulse and cereal varieties; other broad-acre crops may be considered. Total project budgets are capped at CAD $3,000,000 over 4 years, with PIC contributing up to 45% of eligible costs. Eligible consortium members include crop breeding companies, seed companies, end-user processors, crop agronomy companies, and biotech/genomics firms.
