Advanced Clinical Research Award (ACRA)
Funds three-year clinical advancement support for mid-career physician scientists in cancer research.
The Advanced Clinical Research Award is a topic-specific competition for mid-career physician-scientists who are 5–10 years from their first full-time primary faculty appointment and committed to original clinical cancer research in an area not currently funded. It provides $450,000 over three years ($150,000/year) for translational and/or clinical research. In 2026, two ACRAs in Breast Cancer Research were offered, funded by the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). The program is currently listed as closed; calls open on a topic-specific basis each cycle.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
