CORFO Semilla Expande
Funds growth support for Chilean women-led companies through multi-stage venture development.
CORFO's Semilla Expande sits one step above Semilla Inicia for women-led Chilean companies that have already made their first sale. The program supports early growth, and the women-led requirement applies throughout execution. It is part of CORFO's broader entrepreneurship and regional development toolkit. The award is structured in two stages. Stage 1 can reach CLP 28,333,334 over up to nine months of innovation and expansion work, with an 85% non-refundable subsidy and a 15% beneficiary contribution. If Stage 1 is approved, Stage 2 can extend support by up to CLP 22,666,666. Eligible companies must be registered in Chile, have at most 36 months since SII registration, have at least CLP 100,000 in sales from the proposed solution, and total annual sales no higher than CLP 80,000,000. The 2026 women-led call is active. The program suits teams that can turn an initial market win into a more durable growth plan. Strong applicants should be able to show commercial traction, a clear expansion use case, and enough operating discipline to pass the first stage review, since continuation depends on performance in the initial phase.
