Semilla Expande para Empresas Lideradas por Mujeres 2026 is a two-stage, non-refundable co-financing program from CORFO that supports early-stage women-led Chilean companies that have already made their first sale and are ready to expand market traction. Stage 1 provides up to CLP 28,333,334 over a maximum of nine months, covering up to 85% of eligible project costs; the applicant contributes a minimum 15% co-financing. Stage 2 is a conditional extension of up to CLP 22,666,666 additional funding, unlocked only upon satisfactory completion of Stage 1. The combined maximum across both stages is approximately CLP 51,000,000. The call opened May 12, 2026 and closes June 16, 2026 at 4:00 PM.
Eligibility is limited to women-led legal entities (not individuals) registered in Chile with SII registration within the 36 months preceding the call opening. A minimum of CLP 100,000 in net sales attributable to the specific proposed solution must be demonstrated — pre-revenue companies are excluded and should apply to Semilla Inicia instead. Maximum total net sales in the prior 12 months must not exceed CLP 80,000,000, keeping the program targeted at very early-stage SMEs. Women-led status must be maintained throughout the entire execution period.
Semilla Expande Mujeres is the natural progression instrument for women-led ventures that have validated their concept under Semilla Inicia and are now executing commercial scale-up. The two-stage structure means Stage 1 functions as a live performance gate: only teams that execute well receive the Stage 2 extension. CORFO's scoring in this program rewards market differentiation, a clear path to revenue growth, and the team's capacity to deploy the funds within the nine-month window. Applicants should prepare financial projections and commercial evidence carefully, as the minimum sales requirement must be documentable at application.
