CORFO Semilla Inicia

Funds first-step support for women-led Chilean start-ups at pre-revenue stages.

CORFO's Semilla Inicia is a women-led seed subsidy under Chile's production development agency, aimed at ventures that have not yet generated sales. It sits in CORFO's entrepreneurship portfolio and is designed for either women as natural persons or women-led legal entities in Chile. The current call is the 2026 women-led edition. The program co-finances up to 85% of project costs, with a maximum subsidy of CLP 17,000,000 and a required 15% beneficiary contribution. Eligible applicants must be resident in Chile, have no prior sales, and have started tax-authority activity no more than 18 months before the call opened. The program funds technical and commercial validation work intended to reach a first sale by project completion. The 2026 call opened on 12 May 2026 and closes on 15 June 2026. This route is built for very early ventures that still need proof of demand, testing, and a credible path to first revenue. It rewards teams that can show the project is ready for validation rather than only an idea, and that the women-led structure will remain in place through execution.
