CORFO Viraliza
Funds ecosystem-building activities in Chile through events, communications, and innovation training.
CORFO's Viraliza program is a regional ecosystem-building subsidy inside Chile's production development system. It funds work that strengthens entrepreneurship and innovation culture rather than individual ventures. The program is open only to legal entities constituted in Chile, and individual applicants are not eligible. Viraliza covers two tracks. Diffusion of Entrepreneurship and Innovation can fund large-scale events, networking, and mass-media activity up to CLP 50,000,000. Training for Entrepreneurship and Innovation can fund competency transfer to target populations up to CLP 30,000,000. CORFO covers up to 70% of total project costs, with the beneficiary covering the remaining 30%. Calls run throughout the year by region, so the cadence is rolling rather than a single national deadline. The best fit is an organization that can convene a regional audience, move knowledge quickly, and show why the activity will strengthen the local ecosystem. Because each call is regional, applicants need a strong territorial argument as well as a clear event or training plan. The program is less about venture building for one company and more about shaping the market conditions around many companies.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
