Commercial Districts (Barrios Comerciales)

Barrios Comerciales is SERCOTEC's largest territorial instrument, providing up to CLP 80,000,000 non-reimbursable over three stages to organized merchant associations representing at least 15 commercial or service establishments. Funded activities include commercial management support for member businesses, physical/urban environment improvements, association-building initiatives, and sustainable commercial development projects. The program requires member businesses to hold primera categoría tax registration with SII. The beneficiary co-contribution is 2–10% cash in Stage 1 and 2–20% in Stage 2. Implementation is led by the applicant merchant association and delivered through SERCOTEC's network.
