TechSource is Colorado SBDC’s statewide program for science and technology entrepreneurs seeking non-dilutive capital. Launched in 2017, it sits inside Colorado SBDC and is delivered through the state’s business-support system, with Boulder SBDC handling day-to-day program management. The program combines free one-on-one advising, the ten-week TVX accelerator, the Ascent workshop series, and Proposal Assistance Funding for SBIR and STTR proposal development. TechSource also draws on the SBA FAST Partnership Program to offset the cost of its support tracks. The proposal assistance line is the only cash route directly tied to participants, and the public page does not publish a fixed award amount. The best fit is a Colorado company that is trying to move toward SBIR or STTR funding, advanced-industry commercialization, or a broader non-dilutive capital strategy. TechSource works best when the company already has a clear technical story and wants help turning that into a fundable proposal, a stronger market plan, or a tighter commercialization path.
