Technology Incubation

Funds early-stage Czech deep-tech startups in mobility, artificial intelligence, and clean technologies.

Technology Incubation is CzechInvest's flagship direct-funding programme for early-stage technology startups in the Czech Republic. It is financed through OP TAK, co-funded by the EU, and CzechInvest administers it under Ministry of Industry and Trade supervision. Selected companies can receive up to CZK 4.5 million over a two-year incubation period. The eligible themes are Mobility, AI, Green Technologies, and Creative Industries. The programme is open to Czech-registered for-profit companies operating in the country, with application materials in Czech. The intake model is repeated through multiple rounds rather than a single annual competition. It suits teams that are early enough to benefit from structured incubation but concrete enough to fit a public call. CzechInvest has positioned it as the successor to CzechStarter and CzechAccelerator, so applicants should expect a startup-facing route rather than a broad industrial subsidy. The route is tied to a two-year incubation period, so it is closer to structured startup development than a one-off award announcement.
