The CzechInvest Technology Incubation programme is a direct cash grant scheme administered by CzechInvest (the Investment and Business Development Agency under the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade) and financed through the EU Operational Programme Technology and Applications for Competitiveness (OP TAK) 2021–2027. It provides up to CZK 4,500,000 (approximately EUR 180,000) per selected company over a two-year programme period. Projects must fall within one of four defined sector themes: Mobility, Artificial Intelligence, Green Technologies, or Creative Industries. Applicants must be early-stage technology startups incorporated in the Czech Republic; universities, research organisations, and non-profits are ineligible.

The programme's per-company ceiling of CZK 4.5 million is confirmed by the MPO mid-term evaluation of the Czech SME Strategy 2021–2027. EU co-financing through OP TAK means that standard state-aid cumulation rules apply; companies holding other EU-sourced support must verify they do not exceed permitted aid thresholds. The dedicated incubation portal (technologickainkubace.org) operates with restricted public access, so application cycle dates, scoring rubrics, and detailed submission requirements are published there rather than in this record. Documentation and application processes are conducted in Czech.

For grant-seekers, the programme is most relevant to Czech-incorporated, early-stage ventures in the four priority sectors that are seeking non-dilutive funding to accelerate from concept to commercially viable product over a structured two-year period. Because the grant is co-funded by the EU and implemented via a state agency, successful applicants should plan for compliance reporting, output measurement, and adherence to OP TAK programme milestones throughout the award period.

Direct non-dilutive cash grants for early-stage Czech technology startups in Mobility, AI, Green Technologies, or Creative Industries, funded under EU OP TAK.
