NPO — Digital Infrastructure (Komponenta 1.3 / 1.4)

NPO — Digital Infrastructure sits under the Czech National Recovery Plan and is administered by MPO. It covers two related components: 1.3 for digital high-capacity networks and regional digital technical maps, and 1.4 for the digital economy, innovative start-ups, and new technologies, including 5G industrial demonstrators. The program is part of the Recovery and Resilience Facility timetable, so all spending has to finish by 31 August 2026. The instrument is a grant. Component 1.3 has already run at least eight call cycles, which makes it one of the more active MPO recovery tracks, while component 1.4 includes a 5G demonstrator call with a total budget of 48 million CZK, a 31 August 2025 deadline, and eligible expenses extended to 30 June 2026. MPO Project Office 21300 administers the route directly, and Czech-language documentation remains the norm. The strongest fit is a Czech project that needs recovery-plan money for digital infrastructure or a demonstrator with a clear technology case. The route is practical for applicants that can work to a fixed closure deadline and manage one-shot windows, especially where the project can be tied to regional mapping, high-capacity network build-out, or an industrial 5G use case. Because the calls move quickly, timing matters as much as the technical fit.
