NPO Digitální vysokokapacitní sítě — VIII. výzva is the eighth public call under komponenta 1.3 (Digital Infrastructure) of the Czech National Recovery Plan (Národní plán obnovy / NPO), funded through the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF). The call is owned by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MPO), administered by MPO Project Office 21300. It opened 27 May 2025. The scope is specifically the creation of regional components for the digital technical map — a national registry of prepared infrastructure construction coordinating regional authorities with central infrastructure registries.

Eligible applicants are Czech-registered for-profit companies and nonprofit organizations; universities, research organizations, and individuals are not eligible. The call budget, award amounts per project, and the submission deadline are specified in the linked PDF call specification (306 KB) rather than the HTML landing page. All projects funded under the NPO must complete all eligible spending by 31 August 2026, which is the hard RRF closure deadline and constrains the implementation timeline regardless of when within the call window a project is awarded.

The fact that this is the eighth call in the sub-track is a strong indicator of the program's established delivery pattern and MPO's commitment to rolling out additional cycles before the RRF closure date. Applicants should download the full PDF specification from the MPO call page for budget, scoring criteria, and the exact deadline. The digital technical map program addresses a concrete public-infrastructure gap: the absence of a unified, machine-readable registry of planned infrastructure works across Czech regions, making it relevant to regional authorities and GIS/infrastructure technology providers operating in the Czech Republic.
