SPRIND R&D Grants (Clawback Model)

SPRIND's direct R&D grant instrument finances breakthrough research projects from single-digit millions up to €35M. The critical structural feature: funding is repaid only if the project achieves commercial success. This clawback/success-conditional model makes it neither a pure grant nor a loan — it de-risks early-stage development without diluting the founding team. Applications are submitted via email (projects@sprind.org) or online form, rolling intake with ~12-week assessment cycle. SPRIND designs bespoke cooperation agreements for each project rather than applying standard guidelines.
