Science Communication sits under the Carlsberg Foundation and funds major public communication programs about basic research in the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities. The program is aimed at work that is free and accessible to all Danes, and the approved formats range from festivals and events to lectures, television, radio, podcasts, social media productions, and multimedia activity. Awards reach up to DKK 3 million. Applicants need documented professional experience in science communication, and the content must be developed with researchers who contribute to or quality-assure it. The call runs annually, and the bilingual site supports both English and Danish communication. The best fit is an organisation with real production capacity and a credible academic partner, not a one-off publicity idea.
