Grand Solutions is Innovation Fund Denmark's flagship grant programme for large, ambitious, multi-partner research-and-innovation consortia. The programme invests in interdisciplinary projects that create new, specific solutions to major societal and economic challenges in Denmark. Grand Solutions consortia typically combine companies (SMEs and large), universities, and public organisations, with a minimum of 3 partners spanning research and industry. Project size is typically DKK 5 million to DKK 40 million, with the Fund covering up to 75 percent of total project costs for SMEs and research organizations and proportionally less for large enterprises under EU State Aid GBER rules.
