Mobilitas 3.0
Supports ERDF backed umbrella for ERC top up, MSCA incoming postdocs, ERA NET co funding, and internationalisation Estonian research.
Mobilitas 3.0 is the Estonian Research Council's EUR 36.4 million internationalisation umbrella, established by ministerial order on 26 October 2023 and financed 70% by the European Regional Development Fund. It succeeds Mobilitas Pluss and sits inside ETAG's support for Estonia's research system, with a remit that reaches from researcher mobility to institutional visibility abroad. The programme combines ERC top-up support for applicants who reached an "A" rating at the second evaluation stage, incoming postdoctoral grants for Marie Skłodowska-Curie applicants with 70 or more points, co-funding for Estonian institutions in European Partnership and ERA-NET calls, and support for the Estonian Liaison Office in Brussels and international promotion of research. Eligibility reaches researchers in Estonia, incoming postdoctoral researchers, and Estonian R&D institutions with positively evaluated EU partnership proposals. Mobilitas 3.0 runs as an ongoing umbrella rather than a single deadline round, so applicants need to follow the relevant sub-call and its published terms. The strongest fit is a researcher or institution with prior EU peer-review traction and a clear international role, because the programme rewards mobility, European networking, and research-facing presence in Brussels. ETAG publishes the specific award details within each sub-track rather than under one universal cap.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
