EIT Urban Mobility RAPTOR Open Call
Supports Challenge grants for startups and small businesses solving specific urban mobility problems defined by cities.
RAPTOR, short for Rapid Application Process To Overcome Real-mobility challenges, is EIT Urban Mobility's challenge-driven open call for startups and SMEs. It sits under the organisation's Innovations to Market offer and focuses on specific problems defined by cities, which makes it a faster route into a live municipal use case. The route is a grant open only to for-profit companies in the EU, with individuals, nonprofits, universities, and research organisations excluded. It does not require a consortium, runs annually, and is designed for smaller teams that can respond quickly to a city-defined challenge rather than build a broad partnership. The 2026 cycle closed on 12 March 2026, and the next cycle is expected in 2027. RAPTOR is a good fit when a startup already has a targeted product and needs a sharper route into urban deployment. The most competitive proposals are tightly matched to the challenge, operationally ready, and clearly grounded in the urban mobility scope set by the city partner.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
