EIT InnoEnergy Highway®
Supports Dilutive minority equity acceleration for early stage clean tech startups.
EIT InnoEnergy Highway® sits under EIT InnoEnergy, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology's clean-energy community, and it is the group's flagship startup route. The programme backs early-stage clean-tech companies with a dilutive minority equity stake plus a 2.5-year acceleration package. The target geography is mainly Europe, with scope that also reaches the United States and Japan. The support package includes access to finance, market introductions, talent, intellectual property and regulation help, sales support, and supply-chain contacts. The record treats this as equity, not a grant, and it does not publish a cheque size. Applicants are expected to have at least a proof of concept or prototype and to bring complementary, execution-oriented teams; the financial terms are negotiated after selection. That makes Highway most useful for founders who want capital and industrialisation help in the same relationship. The programme suits companies that are past pure research but still need a partner to open customers, investors, and production pathways. Because intake is rolling, readiness matters more than timing.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
