EIT RawMaterials Booster
Invests innovative organizations in United States by guiding innovation from prototype work to stronger buyer demand.
EIT RawMaterials Booster sits inside EIT RawMaterials, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology community for the minerals and materials sector. Based in Berlin and active across Europe, the platform works with universities, industry partners, and a broad alliance network to keep materials innovation commercially relevant. The Booster route is a grant-backed commercialization program for for-profit companies in mining, battery materials, and circular materials. Awards run from €10,000 to €500,000, the program recurs annually, and it is aimed at ventures around TRL 4 to 7. Applicants need to be based in the EU or associated countries, cannot stack the same funding at the same time, and the fit is strongest when the project can show a clear path from technical proof toward market deployment. The wider EIT RawMaterials system emphasizes circular economy, substitution, and responsible extraction, with live calls, advisory services, market analysis, and access to a large European network. Booster works best for companies that need a commercial bridge, not basic research funding: it rewards projects that can move through validation, scale-up, and industrial relevance inside a consortium-backed European ecosystem.
