Large Industrial Decarbonisation Projects — Call for Tenders (AO GPID — Grands Projets Industriels de Décarbonation)
Funds largest-emitting French industrial sites transforming production toward decarbonisation.
AO GPID is ADEME's competitive tender under France 2030 for the largest-emitting and hardest-to-decarbonise French industrial sites. Winning projects are structured as State-industrial financing contracts that support both construction and operation of decarbonised production processes, so the route is aimed at industrial transformation rather than laboratory work. The 2026 call opened on 7 May 2026 and closes on 7 September 2026 at 15:00 Paris time. Eligibility is tightly gated: the applicant must be a company that either responded to the 25 June-24 September 2025 public consultation or was unsuccessful in the 2024 edition. It is limited to France and to industrial decarbonisation, and the landing page points applicants to required technical, financial, emissions, audit, timetable, and transition documents. Webinars are scheduled for 22 May and 5 June, with individual interviews running from 8 June to 24 July. This is a fit for heavy industry operators with a mature decarbonisation plan, not for early concept work. The strongest applications are likely to show a feasible project roadmap, credible financial and technical documentation, and a clear path away from fossil inputs.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
