DECARB FLASH

Supports rapidly deployable industrial decarbonisation actions at French sites through energy and emissions improvements.

DECARB FLASH 2025-2027 is ADEME's faster industrial decarbonisation route under France 2030. It supports quickly deployable actions at industrial sites in metropolitan France and Overseas, with a narrower project size than DECARB IND and a sharper operational focus. The grant covers projects costing €100k-€3M, with a €25k floor in Corsica and the Overseas territories. It opened on 10 April 2025 and closes on 15 February 2027, with quarterly deadlines. Eligible actions include waste heat recovery, energy-efficiency work, fuel-switching through changes in the energy mix, building insulation, and renewable-energy production. It is aimed at SMEs and at large companies only where the site is not under EU ETS, and French-language submission applies. Applicants need to be ready for a pre-deposit meeting with ADEME and to support the file with an energy audit under four years old, a PACTE Industrie opportunity study, or an ISO 50001 energy review. The program suits companies that can move from diagnosis to execution quickly and prove that the project will cut fossil energy use and emissions on a near-term timetable.
