DECARB IND — Décarbonation de l'industrie
Funds major industrial decarbonisation projects in France through energy efficiency and cleaner process changes.
DECARB IND — Décarbonation de l'industrie sits in ADEME's France 2030 portfolio as the agency's structural grant for major industrial decarbonisation projects in France. It is built for large capex plans that can move industrial sites toward lower emissions, especially when the project is tied to a quantified GHG reduction target. The instrument is a grant, with aid requests capped at €30M and project spend above €3M. It is open to for-profit applicants in France, uses quarterly relèves, and focuses on four action families: energy efficiency, energy mix change, material mix change, and carbon capture, use and storage. French-language documentation applies. The strongest fit is an industrial operator with a large, technically defined retrofit or process change and a clear emissions case. ADEME expects projects to be substantial enough to justify the France 2030 lane, so applicants benefit from a solid engineering baseline, a measurable emissions reduction, and a financing plan that can absorb the scale of the capex.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
