The prize runs as three escalating rounds -- Concept, Design and Build -- and winning the Design round is required to advance to Build. Competitors earn cash prizes plus vouchers redeemable with national laboratories or industry experts to help build their prototypes. As of this capture the challenge is closed to new competitors, with finalists announced and judging complete.
