Consortia submit a Research and Innovation Action proposal by the single-stage deadline, explicitly identifying point-source or direct-air capture; the Commission expects to fund three projects and guarantees at least one winner in each of the two capture routes if it clears the quality threshold. Activities are expected to reach TRL 5 by the end of the project.
