Consortia submit an Innovation Action proposal by the single-stage deadline; the consortium must include at least two equipment or system manufacturers, two transmission system operators and two research centres. The Commission expects to fund three projects, each reaching TRL 6-7, and the expected EU contribution per project is deliberately wide because equipment types vary greatly in cost.
