Large-scale in situ biodiversity observations for better understanding of biodiversity state, drivers of its decline and impacts of policies

Funds large-scale field surveys and monitoring networks that generate the biodiversity data the EU needs to track its 2030 restoration targets.

This is a single-stage Research and Innovation Action funded as a lump sum; the Commission expects to fund two projects. Consortia may pass up to 30% of their EU funding to third parties, as grants capped at EUR 60,000 each, to carry out in-situ observation of specific habitats and species. Applications go through the EU Funding & Tenders Portal.
