Indonesia Creation Appreciation (Apresiasi Kreasi Indonesia) (AKI)

Offers capacity-building and exhibition bootcamp for Indonesian creative-economy small and enterprises across subsectors.

Apresiasi Kreasi Indonesia (AKI) is Kemenparekraf's annual creative-economy bootcamp and exhibition track for Indonesian SMEs and practitioners. The record places it under the ministry's creative-economy mandate, with post-2024 administration moving into Kemenekraf. In the 2024 cycle, it drew roughly 10,000 applicants and selected 360 participants across host cities and regencies. The initiative is in-kind rather than cash-based. It offers bootcamp training, exhibition space, networking, publicity, and market access across six subsectors: culinary, craft, fashion, applications, film, and music. Eligibility sits with Indonesian citizens who hold a NIK and NPWP, are at least 17, and can participate without paying a fee. AKI works best for small creative businesses that want visibility, coaching, and a public showcase more than direct capital. Delivery runs with local government offices in host locations, which makes the program feel like a distributed national tour rather than a single central competition. The practical value is access to audiences and follow-on commercial attention.
