The EIC Accelerator via ISERD is the Israeli access route to the European Innovation Council's blended-finance programme for deep-tech SMEs and startups. ISERD acts as the national contact point in Israel, while the European Commission funds the award and the route itself remains part of Horizon Europe. The programme backs high-risk, high-impact innovations from demonstration stage to market deployment. It offers up to €2.5 million in grant funding and up to €10 million in equity investment. The 2026 short-proposal call closes on 17 December 2026, and the eligible company must be registered in Israel. The structured record places the technical window at TRL 6 through TRL 9, which means the project should already be beyond the lab and into validation, market entry, or scale-up. The best fit is a company with a near-market product, a technical edge that still needs proof in the field, and a plan that can stand up to investor-level scrutiny.
