Innovation Agreements (Accordi per l'Innovazione)
Supports industrial innovation and experimental-development agreements between MIMIT, regions and enterprises.
Accordi per l'Innovazione is the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy's flagship route for large industrial research and experimental development projects. It is built as a formal agreement between the ministry, the proposing companies and any participating regions or public administrations, with Mediocredito Centrale handling administration. The scheme supports projects in manufacturing and in digital and telecommunications, with eligible costs between €5 million and €40 million and project duration of 18 to 36 months. It is open to companies of any size with at least two approved balance sheets, research centres and, for some areas, service companies; up to five co-proponents can apply together, including research organisations. Support comes as a direct contribution to spending and, when requested, an assisted loan, with higher aid rates for SMEs and for projects that collaborate effectively or take place in less-developed regions. The current call closed on 18 February 2026, and the scheme is now in ranking and review. The strongest applicants are those with a large, technically demanding programme, a clear co-proponent structure and enough financial substance to survive an industrial-scale review. This is not a quick-turn voucher; it suits consortia that can carry a multi-year R&D plan and document the commercial and technical case carefully.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
