New Call: Innovative Machinery (Nuovo bando Macchinari Innovativi)
Funds Italian manufacturers in southern regions with capital support and soft loans for production equipment modernization.
The Nuovo bando Macchinari Innovativi is the Ministry's capital-support line for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia, and Sicilia. It backs projects that modernize production through digital technologies or shift manufacturing toward a circular-economy model, with Invitalia handling the measure and total funding of 265 million euro across two sportelli. Investment plans must fall between 400,000 and 3 million euro, or be built by a network of up to six co-proponents with at least 200,000 euro per participant. The aid package covers 75% of eligible costs: micro and small firms can receive 35% as a capital grant and 40% as a zero-interest loan, while medium firms receive 25% and 50%; the loan is repaid over as long as seven years. Applicants need two approved accounts or tax returns, ordinary accounting, and a clean compliance profile, and the measure excludes recent delocalizations as well as several heavy-industry and infrastructure sectors. The first sportello opened in July 2020 and was later refinanced in 2021, so the strongest files are regional industrial upgrade projects with a clear capex plan and a business that can document its accounts and location without friction.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
