JIC Capital (JICC) is the PE and buyout subsidiary of JIC, established in September 2020. Its investment mandate covers Society 5.0 transformation, business portfolio restructuring, international competitiveness enhancement, and next-generation social infrastructure / DX. In July 2025, JIC Capital announced a JPY 800 billion (~$5.3B) fund dedicated to large restructuring transactions. This is a private equity vehicle, not a grant. No public call schedule or application portal.
