NEDO co-funds the Japanese side of an international joint R&D project while a partner-country support organisation funds its own country's business under a matching co-funding scheme, part of the Globalstars call with Japan. Supported projects run about two to three years, and the fund covers this activity within a program that spans FY2023 to FY2031 with a total budget of 2 billion yen.
