Lithuanian Innovation Agency Programmes
Supports Lithuanian companies through national innovation and technology-transfer programmes for growth and international expansion.
Lithuanian Innovation Agency Programmes sit under Innovation Agency Lithuania, the national agency under the Ministry of Economy and Innovation. The agency was formed in 2022 by merging MITA, Versli Lietuva, and parts of LVPA, and its current portfolio covers business financing, export support, incubation, and technology transfer across Lithuania. The programme bundle includes startup grants, AI solutions development and deployment calls, EIT Jumpstarter, U.S. market expansion, defence and security technology co-financing, and other SME growth instruments. The headline award range in the current call set runs from about EUR 32,100 to EUR 3.21 million, and the calls are annual. Applicants are expected to be Lithuanian-registered companies or nonprofits operating in Lithuania, not individuals. The practical fit is strongest for teams that can tie a product, scale-up, or cross-border expansion plan to one of the named calls and present a credible implementation path. The agency also acts as a delivery point for cross-border instruments such as EIT Jumpstarter and EU-linked defence co-financing, so it is as much an operating platform as a funding gatekeeper.
