Support for Large Firms & Public Sector to Host International Exhibitions in Latvia (Atbalsts starptautisku izstāžu organizēšanai)
Administers Atbalsts lielajiem uzņēmumiem un publiskajam sektoram starptautisku izstāžu organizēšanai Latvijā for practical innovation and measurable results.
Latvijas Investīciju un attīstības aģentūra supports international exhibitions in Latvia through a 2026 grant programme designed to bring foreign visitors, spending, and visibility into the country. The route is governed by Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 763 of 16 December 2025, and the 2026 budget is €1,000,000 split across two calls. The programme can cover up to €100,000 per exhibition, with the ceiling varying by participant numbers. Support intensity is 60% under de minimis rules or 85% for non-commercial activity. Eligible applicants are broad on the public side and include large commercial enterprises, state and municipal enterprises, municipalities, associations and foundations, Special Economic Zones, port authorities, planning regions, and scientific institutions. The events must run at least two days and attract at least 500 foreign visitors or participants from four or more countries. This is not a generic SME tourism call. It suits organisations that can host a large international event, document attendance and nationality thresholds, and show a credible economic return from inbound visitors. The second 2026 call opens on 1 July 2026, so applicants need to work from a fixed timetable and be ready with venue, programme, and participant planning well before the window opens.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
