SALAMA PME

SALAMA PME is a national relocation support programme under Maroc PME, coordinated with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and participating regional wilayas in Casablanca, Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, and Rabat-Salé-Kénitra. It targets industrial units identified by public authorities as having worker and community safety risks. Support is delivered as co-financing for relocation costs including equipment acquisition, building rent, and technical assistance. Beneficiaries are selected through local technical committees rather than a broad open call. The approach is focused on place-based risk mitigation in public safety and industrial decarbonization pathways, and is designed for industrial units tied to designated relocation outcomes.
