Technology Development & Infrastructure Projects for National Priorities (Proyectos de Desarrollo Tecnológico para Problemáticas Nacionales Prioritarias)
Offers Proyectos de Desarrollo Tecnológico, Innovación y Fortalecimiento de Infraestructura para la Atención de Problemáticas Nacionales Prioritarias, supporting.
Proyectos de Desarrollo Tecnológico, Innovación y Fortalecimiento de Infraestructura para la Atención de Problemáticas Nacionales Prioritarias is SECIHTI's annual technology and innovation call for Mexico. It funds work aimed at national priority problems and continues the line of earlier CONACYT innovation programs. The program has three chapters: Chapter A for maturing intermediate technologies, Chapter B for scaling advanced technologies that address national problems, and Chapter C for intellectual property protection and technology management support. Eligible applicants include for-profit firms, nonprofits, universities, and research organizations registered and operating in Mexico, while individuals are excluded. Award amounts are published in chapter-level terms documents in MXN, and Spanish is the working language. Applicants with prior SECIHTI support can still participate when they remain in good standing and can show real technological advancement without repeating earlier objectives. The strongest proposals are tied to a specific problem, a clear stage of technological maturity, and a chapter that matches that stage. It is a practical call for teams that can move technology forward rather than merely describe it.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
