ECOS Nord — Mexico–France Scientific Cooperation (Cooperación Científica México-Francia)

Supports ECOS Nord, connecting Mexico and France through mobility and joint research projects in science and humanities.

ECOS Nord is the bilateral Mexico–France scientific cooperation program supporting joint research projects in sciences and humanities. SECIHTI is the Mexican counterpart; the French counterpart coordinates on the French side. The program funds research missions, short stays, and mobility of researchers and graduate students between Mexican and French institutions. ECOS Nord is part of the ECOS (Évaluation-orientation de la COopération Scientifique) network — the 'Nord' branch covers Mexico, Colombia, and Venezuela as the French partner network for Latin America. Applications require coordinated submission from both the Mexican and French teams. Documentation typically required in both Spanish and French.
