HalalBiz Financing Programme provides Shariah-compliant (Islamic) financing to Malaysian MSMEs participating in the halal industry ecosystem. Funds may be used for asset purchase, working capital, and the cost of obtaining Halal certification. The government allocates RM100 million annually (Budget 2025 and 2026) channelled through SME Bank. This is a financial instrument (subsidised Islamic loan), not a cash grant.
