SDE++ (Sustainable Energy Production Subsidy)
Supports SDE program, subsidizing production-linked renewable and low-carbon energy to expand clean-energy delivery in the Netherlands.
SDE++ (Stimulering Duurzame Energieproductie en Klimaattransitie) is the Netherlands' main production subsidy for renewable and low-carbon energy. It guarantees a minimum price per unit of clean energy produced, bridging the gap between market price and cost price. EZK is the policy owner; RVO administers the annual tender rounds. Note on governance: SDE++ sat under the split-off KGG ministry from July 2024 to early 2026. It is now back under reformed EZK (2026). Program is confirmed active.
