Eurostars (Dutch national contribution)
Supports Dutch firms through international collaboration grants for joint research with global partners.
Eurostars (Dutch national contribution) is the Netherlands' share of the Eurostars program, administered by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency for the Ministry of Economic Affairs. It sits inside the Eureka network and Horizon Europe, and the Dutch allocation is €22 million a year. The route is a grant for innovative SMEs that lead a consortium with at least one more independent organisation from at least two Eurostars countries. Dutch project share can receive up to €500,000, with SMEs funded at 50%, large companies at 40%, and universities or research institutes at 50%. Projects run up to 36 months and cover civil, R&D-related costs. The 2026 calendar is split across two calls, with openings in January and July. It fits teams that already have a credible development plan and need cross-border collaboration to move an applied idea forward. The structure rewards an SME-led consortium, a clear R&D scope, and a budget that keeps the Dutch participant at or above half of the total project cost.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
