HER+ — Renewable Energy Transition
Funds historical Dutch renewable-energy demonstration efforts, including wind and related climate technologies.
HER+ (Hernieuwbare Energietransitie) funded innovation projects in renewable energy (solar, wind, hydro) and related CO₂-reduction technologies such as hydrogen, waste heat recovery, and carbon capture. The program acted as a gateway to the larger SDE++ operational subsidy and was financed from SDE funds. The program is currently wound down. The last open call ran April 3–August 31, 2023 with a €30 million budget. The page now shows 'Gesloten voor aanvragen' (closed for applications) with no new call date announced as of May 2026.
