Elevate NZ Venture Fund
Funds venture capital managers investing in New Zealand technology companies at Series A and B rounds.
Elevate is NZGCP's NZD 400m+ fund-of-funds, established under the Venture Capital Fund Act 2019 and launched in March 2020. Its Limited Partner is the Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation Fund. Elevate makes LP commitments to VC fund managers who allocate most capital to Series A and B rounds in NZ technology companies. As of March 2025, 90% of capital was committed across 11 funds. Budget 2025 added NZD 100m. This is an LP equity commitment — not a grant or loan to start-ups.
