Up to 15 companies are shortlisted from written applications, and 12 finalists pitch live for eight minutes each during a Sunday happy-hour session at The MedTech Conference in Boston. A panel of judges picks one winner, who receives the cash prize plus a free conference pass and a company presentation slot the following year; other selected pitchers get discounted conference registration.
