Pitch & Pour: Start-Up Pitch Competition

Awards $7,500 cash to the top military-health start-up pitching at The MedTech Conference.

Applications go through a written round first: up to fifteen companies are shortlisted from the submissions, and up to twelve of those are invited to pitch live during a happy-hour-style session held just ahead of the conference's main welcome reception. Each company gets a five-minute pitch plus three minutes of question-and-answer, presented in front of investors, strategics and other decision-m

The competition looks for early-stage companies bringing military-focused medtech, diagnostics, digital health, or imaging technology to market. Eligible applicants must have raised under $10 million since founding, keeping the stage open to genuinely early companies rather than well-funded ones. Solutions should tie clearly to the defense-health focus areas defined by co-sponsor MTEC.
